Halloween

The new Rob Zombie film "Halloween" is not so much a remake but a sort of a reinvention maybe. It's based on the orginal 1978 film of the same title. This movie has a lot more back story that explains why young Micheal Myers (Daeg Faerch) became the psychopath killer he is 15 years later. His family is made up of his older sister, Judith (Hanna R. Hall), his mother, Deborah (Sheri Moon Zombie), his moms abusive boyfriend (William Forsythe), and his baby sister who he calls "Boo". The story begins with young Micheal taking his rat out of the cage and him killing it. His mother is called to his school because the principal feels like Micheal needs help afer finding pictures of dead animals and a dead cat in his bag. Attending the meeting also is Dr.Loomis (Malcolm McDowell) who is a child psychologist that wants to help Micheal. After murdering his whole family, except his baby sister and mother, he is sent to an asylum to work with Dr.Loomis. For a little while he pretends to not know why he was there and had no idea that he killed his family. Then another couple of months later he wants to go home but the docter says he can't. His mother comes and visits with him and when she is about to leave Micheal kills a nurse while she was suppose to watch him. His mother witnesses the murder scene and is cared that this was her son who killed this person. So that night when she got home she commited suicide.

15 years later Micheal (Tyler Mane) has not spoken a word to anyone. Dr.Loomis wants to move on with his life and retires. Micheal is scheduled to be transferred to maximum security but he escapes killing all the guards that were transffering him. He goes back to his house and finds his mask and kitchen knife. He goes to look for his baby sister, Laurie Strode (Scout Taylor-Compton), she has been adotpted by a loving family and knows nothing of Micheal or her biological family.

If you want to know what happens though your going to have to see it for yourselfs. It is a great movie and you will enjoy it.
